Malaspina Theatre presents: The Rocky Horror Show ( live)For over 30 years, the Satyr Players-VIU's student theatre club-have brought the iconic Rocky Horror shadow play to sold-out crowds, helping students break the ice and dive headfirst into our creative community. As we launch into our monumental 50th year of productions, we're paying homage to the generations of alumni, students, and community members who built this legacy by bringing the full musical to the stage! The VIU Theatre Department is thrilled to invite you to "come up to the lab and see what's on the slab" for this term's production of the cult classic rock opera, Richard O'Brien's THE ROCKY HORROR SHOW (Live!) at Malaspina Theatre (Bldg 310) from Oct 29 - Nov 7. 💋 On a wild and rain-soaked night, wholesome college squares Brad and Janet suffer a flat tire. Their search for a phone leads them to a secluded mansion hosting the ultimate VIP afterparty. 🌧️🏎️ But this isn't your average creator collab... Managed by the charismatic Dr. Frank-N-Furter, these creators aren't just chasing views-they're building the ultimate human being, live-streamed for the world to see. Stripped of their ring lights and forced to face their deepest, unfiltered desires, Brad and Janet are about to find out what happens when you stop curating and start living. ✨ Come for the iconic sing-along, stay for the chaotic aesthetic. ✨ Pack your fishnets and dress to impress!
